BY ROAD: Bala is on the A494, which is accessed from the A5. From the south, take the M5, which joins the M6 near Birmingham, then turn onto the M54 after about 7 miles. The M54 becomes the A5 near Shrewsbury and the turn off to the A494 is a little to the north of Corwen.
From the north, follow the M6 south then take the M54 as above.
BY BUS: The TrawsCymru T3 Service runs between Wrexham and Barmouth and operates 7 days a week. You can find a timetable here.
